Quote of the Week!

Quote of the Week 11 Nov.JPG

Christmas is here. It’s easy to become frustrated during the holidays with all of the focus constantly being on toys, and receiving gifts. For many the true spirit of giving appears to get lost in the shuffle. Christmas isn’t about buying or receiving the most expensive gifts and gadgets. This is the time of year that we reflect on our blessings with friends and family. Also it’s a time to spread goodwill towards men. The best way to accomplish this is by finding ways in which to help those in need in your community.

The natural disasters of 2017, has made this a difficult year for many families. All of the loss and devastation has left many people in dire straits. Assistance is still needed during the holiday season and will still be needed afterwards. Now more than ever, is the best time to be generous and give from your heart. Give whatever resources you may have at your disposal. Remember giving doesn’t always have to be about money. Giving your time is just as important. The words of Anne Frank have never rang so true, “No one has ever become poor by giving.”
